Magic In Your Eyes

(Dr. Peter Gray & Doctor's Dream)
Peter B. Gray
Peter B. Gray - Lead vocals, harmony vocals, acoustic guitars
Keith McGee - Electric guitars
Chris Adams - Drums
Mike Sullivan - Bass
Oh when I saw you I was touched
The smiling sparkle in your eyes
And now I miss you oh so much
Why did we have to break those ties

CHORUS
Well girl there's magic in your eyes you know
The sparkle always seems to shine and glow
And let's go look into ourselves
And find that only dream

The times that you and I did have
Were like the mountains I had seen
The two of us climbed up and down
We know the climb life's trip can be

CHORUS

And girl you know your gentle touch is from the heart
The warmest summer breeze; it carried us apart

Come back and be the music of my life
The lyrics always blend so well
A quiet gentle harmony
In which our minds can always dwell

CHORUS

East of Eden

(Dr. Peter Gray & Doctor's Dream)
Peter B. Gray
Peter B Gray- Lead vocals, harmony vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, harmonica
Jim Gilmour- Bass guitar
Keith McGee- Acoustic and electric guitar
Chris Adams- Drums
Often when I think about the places I will go
I find I’m searching for the peace the wild helps me know
I wish my eyes could have the site to see beyond right now
And let me know just what I’ll be and when I’ll be and how

CHORUS
And I’m East of Eden
But I’m west of what I want
Yes I’m East of Eden
Let me know when I’m taught

The things I do confound my paths they cross in many ways
I wish my final course were set like words upon a page

CHORUS

I’m looking towards the health of man
It seems as if I see
That this could be the way I’ll move and what I’ll finally be

And I’m East of Eden
But I’m west of where I want to be
Yes I’m East of Eden
Let me know and help me see
East of Eden…….

That Little Town

(Dr. Peter Gray & Doctor's Dream)
Peter B. Gray
Peter B Gray- Acoustic guitar, lead and harmony vocals
Jim Gilmour- Bass
Keith McGee- Electric guitars
Chris Adams- Drums
To walk the streets where I grew up and really look around
I realize it’s not so bad to have this little town
The friends that I have known
Well they have changed and grown
But they have also stayed the same

CHORUS
That little town
And I can always find the road that leads me home
That little town
And I can still remember voices back where I come from
Voices from
That little town

The same old jobs their parents had; they work them night and day
Their girlfriends, now their wives, are wishing for some better way
The days that they have known
Well they have come and gone
So now they reminisce today

CHORUS

The time then slips on by,… whirling past before their eyes
And then the children do become,… another cycle left undone

To walk the streets where I grew up and really look around
I realize it’s not so bad to have this little town
The friends that I have known well they have changed and grown
But they will always be the same

CHORUS… that little town… that little town… that little town

On the Beach

(Dr. Peter Gray & Doctor's Dream)
Peter B. Gray
Peter B Gray- Acoustic guitar, lead and harmony vocals
Jim Gilmour- Bass
Brad Morgan- Piano
Chris Adams- Drums
Lisa Keith Perry- Additional vocals
Honey let’s go take a walk
Along the sandy beach
We’ll watch the foam and skip some stones
And see what we can reach
The sunset will be beautiful as pastel colors glow
The opalescence shortly last and then the sun must go

The twilight brings the twinkling stars
And moonbeams in your hair
We’ll make a wish,… or two,… or three
As stars fall from the air
We’ll sit around an open fire and listen to the waves
We’ll sing a gentle song and hope the summer breeze behaves

CHORUS
And side by side … And arm in arm
We’ll hold each other tight from harm
And watch the moon within the waves
As sands, they wash away

Sitting in the sand a solemn solitude transcends
Our thoughts of peace and harmony
Just sitting holding hands
Your gentle touch against my skin
The beauty in your eyes
Will warm me as we nestle close beneath the starlit skies

CHORUS

Kim's Song

(Dr. Peter Gray & Doctor's Dream)
Peter B. Gray
Peter B Gray- Acoustic guitar, lead and harmony vocals
Jim Gilmour- Bass
Keith McGee- Acoustic guitar
Brad Morgan- Piano
Spring is here the life’s in bloom
I wonder why it’s so
The many things I contemplate so often I don’t know

The way I feel,… the way felt,… the two are near the same
You added colors to my life and rearranged my days

CHORUS
I only know you seemed to show the things I wanted most
That tenderness and sunny smile you seemed to have them both

I guess we’ll have to find ourselves
Have time repair the wounds
But I inside me feel a truth
We’ll see each other soon

CHORUS

Spring is here the life’s in bloom
I wonder why it’s so
The many things I contemplate so often I don’t know

Love's Footprints

(Dr. Peter Gray & Doctor's Dream)
Peter B. Gray
Peter B Gray- Acoustic guitar, lead and harmony vocals
Jim Gilmour- Bass
Keith McGee- Guitars and Hammond keyboard
Chris Adams- Drums
There was a man who had a dream
He walked life’s beach, a pleasant scene
He made his footprints in the sand
He made his mark upon the land, … in the sand,… he made a stand

And there beside him walked the one
to show the way that life is done
“Well I want you to come with me
to show you how your life can be!”

CHORUS
Just make your footprints in the sand and follow love,… just hold the hand
And watch the scenes of life demand that love will always understand

They waked their time along the beach
the sands of time began to teach
But during days that trouble saw
one footprint set became the law

CHORUS

So let us not be dumb and blind; … Let’s peel it back, … unfold the time
And realize that love is there to carry us to everywhere

CHORUS

Snowing in the City

(Dr. Peter Gray & Doctor's Dream)
Peter B. Gray
Peter B Gray- Acoustic guitar, lead and harmony vocals
Mike Sullivan- Bass
Brad Morgan- Piano
Chris Adams- Drums
Lisa Keith Perry- Vocals
Snowflakes fall upon the tree,… they lightly say “Hello”
Whispering back the tree replies, “You know you have to go,
I’ll see you in the morning. I’ll say 'Goodbye' at noon,
I think that you’ll just melt away but not away to soon”

It’s lacey white, a bridal gown the snowy dress will be
The tree will curtsy in the light and bow to you and me

CHORUS
Cause its snowing in the city
Snowing in the city again
Yeah it’s snowing in the city
And when it will stop; I don’t know when

Once again the snowflakes fall upon her lovely boughs
She whispers back “ Hello again” and shivers ‘neath the shroud
But as the sunshine warms her and melts her silky robe
The sun will gently touch her skin and brush away the cold

CHORUS

Music Moves My Mind

(Dr. Peter Gray & Doctor's Dream)
Peter B. Gray
Peter B. Gray - Acoustic guitars, lead and harmony vocals
Emily and Maggie Gray - Background vocals
Jim Gilmour - Bass
Keith McGee - Electric guitars
Chris Adams - Drums
When I sit down all by myself my music sits down too
Her voice is so melodious
She sings to me her tune

CHORUS
So let me go so far away and rest my weary head
With you beside me all the way I know I will be led

The harmony entwines my mind,… the sound so smooth brings peace
Encompassing the thoughts I find,… they fade off into dreams

CHORUS

Dreams like sand get washed the memories torn are yesterday
Reality will rule the world and see to it’s great needs
And where complexity will fail,… our love and hope succeeds

CHORUS

So music’s hope is always there her voice will fill the air
She’ll mend our hearts and calm our fears as time goes on in years

CHORUS
